Located in a former historic hotel, Atlanta Tech Village’s newest location reimagines an aging downtown building as a vibrant startup hub that supports connection, flexibility, and growth. As part of a broader effort to revitalize South Downtown Atlanta, the project carefully balances historic preservation with modern workplace needs. Designed by Gensler, the space includes a variety of startup suites alongside focus rooms, huddle spaces, soft-seating nooks, and community hubs, creating an environment that encourages collaboration, hospitality, and serendipitous interaction.

turnerboone partnered closely with the design team to deliver a cohesive furniture solution that addressed both budget constraints and the building’s unique character. By thoughtfully integrating donated furnishings alongside new pieces, turnerboone blended old and new to create a unified, welcoming experience. In addition to their standard leasing suites, a range of flexible settings were introduced to support Atlanta Tech Village’s co-working model, enhancing community while unlocking new revenue opportunities through non-traditional layouts. The result is a dynamic space that preserves history, supports startups, and contributes to the ongoing transformation of South Downtown.
