Consolidating teams into one expansive floorplate comes with real design challenges, namely how do you create energy and collaboration without sacrificing the visual and acoustic privacy people need to do their best work? Our team partnered with Equifax and Perkins&Will to furnish a mix of open and enclosed spaces, each supporting a different way of working, from heads-down focus to spontaneous collaboration. The project brought like-functions together into a unified floorplate designed to improve connection and enhance the employee experience.

The new environment incorporates a thoughtful mix of open work areas, enclosed spaces, and experiential ancillary settings that encourage collaboration, focused work, and connection. The design team addressed key considerations such as visual and acoustic privacy while ensuring each space was equipped to meet the needs of Equifax’s employees. turnerboone facilitated an extensive change management process, including workstation mockups and digital tools to help employees visualize the space, build excitement, and understand how the new environment would support their day-to-day work.
